GAP Certified, Specialty Arabica from Mandalay, Myanmar
Shwe Yi Mon Coffee Farm is in the highlands of Pyin Oo Lwin, Mandalay. We grow Arabica coffee, especially SL 34 and SL 28 varieties. We are a GAP certified coffee company.
We grow Arabica in a cool, humid climate in rich, fertile, well-draining red soils. We hand pick all our coffee cherries, and process most of them as dry naturals. Our unique Myanmar Arabica consistently cups at 84-86.
Shwe Yi Mon is involved in the whole coffee value chain from tree to cup. We are GAP certified for our coffee farm and FDA certified for our products. We supply specialty green beans, coffee beans and powder, 2 + 1 coffee, and a custom roasting service to coffee producers.
We follow the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) rules and techniques from picking to storage to ensure we maintain our specialty grade beans. Our team records the cupping score of every lot of our harvest.
Shwe Yi Mon enters cupping competitions every year to ensure we score 80+ and we have confidence when selling to customers as specialty beans.
We founded the Myanmar Coffee Association (MCA), our country’s first coffee association, to share farming knowledge and promote Myanmar coffee internationally.
In 2019, we also launched three units of solar dryer domes with 42 units of two level, metal raised beds to dry cherries. Now, we combine our drip irrigation, systematic harvesting, and dry processing under the solar domes for better energy efficiency and streamlined production.

We produce 8 tons/year of Bourbon-Typica green beans (SL 34 and SL 28) for local and international markets. We sell our coffee through wholesale channels and established clients.
